Introduction of fundamental engineering principles to analyze energy, mass and momentum transport in biomedical systems. Emphasis is placed on the development and solution of mathematical equations to describe transport processes and their application to understand how various parameters influence biomedical system behavior. Preq: MATH 2080 and MSE 2100. Preq or concurrent enrollment: BIOE 3460.
