Description:
This course introduces Cadets to the personal challenges and competencies critical for effective leadership, such as the personal development of life skills such as critical thinking, time management, goal setting, and communication. Cadets learn the basics of the communications process and the importance for leaders to develop skills to effectively communicate in the Army. Cadets apply their knowledge and understanding in a lab, a field setting held off campus during weekly practical exercises. Cadets will begin learning the basics of squad level tactics that will be reinforced during labs facilitated by MSL III Cadets and supervised by Cadre. (2 hrs. classroom, 3 hrs. lab, weekly) Prerequisite: MSL 101. Three semester hours.
