Course is focused on developing field engineering skills through practical, community-based projects. Skills augment theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom, provide students with an opportunity to practice communications and project reporting to various stakeholders, and increase student's employability in today's competitive workforce by providing real world construction site field experience. Students are required to provide written project documents and verbally present project reports to professor and peers. Professional verbal and written communication proficiencies are emphasized throughout the course as these professional skills serve to distinguish program graduates.
