Description: This course covers the principles and ideas underlying the current practice of data mining and predictive modeling. A case-study approach is used to emphasize hands-on learning with a focus on dealing with real business problems. Prerequisite: C- or better in QMTH 210; All QMTH courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102.
