This course is designed to be one of the last classes a sociology major takes and is structured to help students apply their knowledge and skills after graduation. Topics to be covered include areview of major topics, concerns, and paradigms in sociology, discussion of the role of sociology and sociologists in society today, and strategies for putting a sociology degree to work in a post-collegiate context. Prerequisite: "C" or better inSOCI 399 or departmental approval. One semester hour.
