This course prepares advanced practice nurses to plan, implement, and evaluate genomics-informed health care. Students develop a contemporary understanding of genomic influences on health and disease and apply genomic-informed approaches to health assessment, care management, and patient education. Ethical and policy implications of precision healthcare based on genomic information are examined. Preq: Enrollment in a doctoral program and consent of instructor.
