A study of literary texts of the Middle East and North Africa, with emphasis on literature originally published in languages such as Arabic, Persian, Turkish or Hebrew. Attention may be given to translation, diaspora and migration within or from the region. Conducted in English. No knowledge of foreign languages is required. Preq: ENGL 2020 or ENGL 2120 or ENGL 2130 or ENGL 2140 or ENGL 2150.
