Description: This course will provide students with an overview of children's literature from early 20th century to the present. Literary genres, oral traditions, aesthetic values, and appreciation of human diversity will be emphasized. Prerequisite: WRIT 101, READ 150 (Foundations of Language and Literacy) Notes: A grade of "C" or better must be earned, and this course cannot be taken as S/U.
