Description: PETE 101 is designed to provide an introduction to teaching physical education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Emphasis will be placed on developing an applied understanding of both "how" and "what" to teach in physical education, and on the processes of observing and analyzing the physical skills of students and the teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers. Notes: Lab fee: $40. Offered in fall only.
