Description:
General solutions of systems of linear equations, vector spaces and subspaces, linear transformations, determinants, orthogonality, characteristic polynomials, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, singular value decomposition, and generalized inverse. MATH 344L is an optional laboratory course where additional applications will be discussed. Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 142. FS: 12/03/2014. CL: 2020.
