(Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in MATH A108 or by Special Permission of the Department.) Provide mathematics content for early childhood and elementary teachers based on Pre-K through Grade 6 Mathematics Curriculum Standards. Content will be explored through the use of research-based instructional strategies appropriate for young children, modeling methods consistent with best practice. Mathematics content will be discussed from a developmental perspective.
