Description: This course is required of all BSBA students (elective course for other students) to provide an awareness of financial topics that impact the individual as a personal economic agent. The intent is to offer an introduction to basic financial topics and terminology that are relevant to individuals and households. The covered items include acquiring revenue, controlling expenditures, an introduction to taxation and the accumulation of wealth. Upon completion students will grasp the basic concepts of financial literacy. Notes: Offered in fall and spring.
