Description:

(Prereq: Consent of instructor, 8 hours of biology credit). An independent study course in which students will propose and complete a research project. This course is intended for sophomore or junior biology majors. In order to successfully complete this course students must: actively participate in lab or field activities (to include regular meetings with their mentor) and produce a written or oral report of results. May not be used to meet general education requirements or for biology major credit. This course may be repeated for a maximum of 4 credits. Contract required.
