EAR 861. Dissertation Seminar. 3(0). This course is designed to support beginning doctoral dissertation candidates by offering them preliminary guidance and assistance as they begin to pre-plan for writign the dissertation research study. The disseration seminar will be devoted to the pre-work that precedes a dissertation proposal. It will be devoted to the "mechanics" that come into pre-planning endeavors. EAR 899 Dissertation candidates will learn the mechanical and statistical tools presented in separate delivered by various department faculty members. (Chapters I, II, III, consultation with committee chair, mock proposal defense, Chapter IV, V and assignment of "working draft" of proposal). (F,S)
