Description:
The physiological and biochemical alterations occurring in the human body as a result of physical stress are studied. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of the functional changes that result from acute and chronic exercise. Laboratory sessions are an integral and important aspect of this course. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in PEES 210 or BIOL 202 and 203. Four semester hours.
