Topics include atomic structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, thermodynamics, equilibrium principles, kinetics, acid-base theory, electrochemistry, coordination compounds, and radiochemistry. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory weekly. CHEM 111is a prerequisite for CHEM 112. Four semester hours.
