Description:
This is the second course in the 101-102 sequence for non-biology majors. Topics include: origin of life; colonization of land; diversification of plants and animals; anatomy and physiology of plants; anatomy and physiology of animal systems (primarily mammalian, with empahsis on human), including reproductive, digestive, endocrine, circulatory, and nervous. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory weekly. Prerequisite: Biol 101 or 111 or permission of instructor. Four semester hours.
