Applied multivariate analysis: computer plots of multivariate observations; multidimensional scaling; multivariate tests of means, covariances and equality of distributions; univariate and multivariate regressions and their comparisons; MANOVA; principal components analysis; factor analysis; analytic rotations; canonical correlations. Offered fall semester only. Students are expected to have completed a course in linear algebra and a course in statistical inference before enrolling in this course.
