Topics include least-square estimates; Gauss-Markov theorem; confidence ellipsoids, and confidence intervals for estimable functions; tests of hypotheses; one-, two- and higher-way layouts; analysis of variance for other models. Offered fall semester only. Students are expected to have completed a course in linear algebra and a course in mathematical statistics before enrolling in this course.
