Advanced course extending coverage of major and current topics in animal physiology across species not previously covered in AVS 4650. Major topics include digestive physiology in nonruminant and ruminant species, reproductive physiology, muscle physiology, and general aspects of avian physiology. Students are expected to have completed introductory coursework in physiology and biochemistry.
