Application of integration methods to practical and complex vehicle design and manufacturing systems. Includes prototyping, measurements, tolerancing and validation, as well as diagnosis and sensitivities, methods to diagnose sporadic software errors with hardware in the loop, design reviews, FMEA on function signal, geometry, production. Also includes Fault Tree analysis, innovation and change management, risk analysis and value analysis. Preq: AUE 8820 and consent of instructor. Coreq: AUE 8831.
