3.5-1.5-4 This course emphasizes the application of the laws of thermal science in the workplace. Systems covered include steam power, gas turbines, internal combustion, refrigeration, heat pumps, psychometry, air-conditioning and heat transfer. Appropriate instrumentation for measuring temperature, pressure, flow, level and related phenomena will be utilized.
