Description:
Introductory course for students who are not majoring in physical science or engineering. Covers such topics as mechanics, waves, fluids, and thermal physics. Credit for a degree will be given for only one of PHYS 1220, 2000, or 2070. Preq: MATH 1020 or MATH 1040 or MATH 1050 or MATH 1060 or MATH 1070 or a score of 620 or higher on the SAT Math section or a score of 26 or higher on the ACT Math section or a score of 60 or higher on the Clemson Mathematics Placement Test (CMPT).
