Complements the pathogenesis research topics covered in the pathogenic bacteriology lecture. These topics are important at practical levels for prevention and treatment of bacterial diseases. Laboratory is used to teach pathogen handling, basic identification techniques, and modern molecular protocols for pathogen identification. Preq: MICR 4140. Preq or concurrent enrollment: MICR 4110.
