Description:
Discussion of microorganisms in air, terrestrial, and aquatic environments and how they are used for environmental restoration activities. Topics include the nature of biofilms, interactions of microbes with inorganic and organic constituents, processes to implement bioremediation in surface/subsurface environments, and treatment of solid, liquid, and gaseous waste streams. Preq: MICR 3050 and MICR 4040; and either CH 2010 or both CH 2230 and CH 2270.
