Exploration of the unique literary heritage and achievement of English-language Irish writers in the 19th and 20th centuries. Major figures of the Irish tradition: W. B. Yeats, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, and other writers; consideration of the specifically Irish aspects of their works.
