Capstone course engaging students in analysis and discussion of publications from the technical and non-technical literature in biological sciences and from current topics of biology appearing in other media. Emphasis is placed on ethical issues that arise as a result of biological research. Credit toward a degree will be given for only one of BIOL 4930 or MICR 4930. This course is not open to students who have received credit for MICR 4930. Preq: Senior standing; one of COMM 1500 or COMM 2500 or ENGL 3140 or ENGL 3150; and one of BIOL 3350 or BIOL 4610.
