Critical analysis of a current science and technology issue with significant controversial and societal consequences (e.g., global warming, methods of energy production). Students retrieve, analyze, evaluate, present and discuss relevant information to develop basic competence in science and mathematics and in the evaluation of scientific and technological issues. May be repeated for a maximum of six credits, but only if different topics are covered. Preq: Sophomore standing.
