Description:
Practices of plant propagation from seeds, bulbs, divisions, layers, cuttings, grafting, and plant tissue culture are introduced. Physiological principles of pollination and seed biology, plant growth, regulators, source sink relations, life cycles and developmental phase transitions explain the practices. Environmental and economic contexts frame the preferred practices.
