Comprehensive treatment of the theory of interest including from a calculus-based continuous viewpoint. Topics include simple and compound interest and discount, nominal and effective rates, force of interest, basic and general annuities, yield rates, amortization and sinking funds, and applications to bonds, mortgages, and other securities. Preq: MATH 2060 with a C or better.
