Description:
Extensive treatment of topics chosen to prepare students for the study of calculus. Special emphasis is given to polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs, as well as basic and analytic trigonometry. Students who have received credit for any other mathematical sciences course will not be allowed to enroll in or receive credit for MATH 1050. To be taken Pass/No Pass only. Coreq: MATH 1051.
