Description:
Examines contemporary picture books primarily for audiences of children, but also for young adult and adult readers. Emphasis will be on text and on the interplay between text and image. Students will become knowledgeable about the history and diversity of children's literature and central issues and controversies in children's book publishing and children's literature scholarship. Prerequisite: C or better in ENGL 101 and ENGL 102. FS: 04/06/2022.
