Course explores the development of contemporary Latin American worldviews and identity by focusing on the various contributions of indigenous, European, and African peoples to the sense of identities and cultural traditions in the Americas. This course does not apply towards a Spanish minor. Cannot be used to satisfy the language requirement. No previous knowledge of Spanish necessary. (Satisfies the Non-Western world studies and the General Education Humanities requirements.)
