(Prereq: SPAN A316 or A317, or by departmental permission) Study of the different cultures of Spain, beginning with the Iberian tribes and continuing with the Romans, the Visigoths, the Arabs, and up to the contemporary culture and civilization. Study of the impact that these different cultures have on Spanish traditional and contemporary culture. Study of the classical and contemporary art of Spain and its major national and international influences.
