Child Development and Foundations in Early Learning will include an overview of the field of early childhood education which spans the ages of birth through eight. Child development spanning this age range and foundations of learning will be explored. A variety of programs work with children in this age range including child care, Head Start, parent education, preschool and public school. This course will survey the state and federal programs which work with children of this age.
