Description:
Nursing theory and practice based on the Neuman Systems Model in the context of an intensive, directed service-learning opportunity in an international medical setting. Preparatory assignments will be given in advance of the trip and participation in scholarly activities (e.g. presentations, publications) will be required after the conclusion of trip. Additional fees are charged for costs beyond tuition. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor. Two semester hours (1,1).
