Description: In-depth study of the meaning and application of basic mathematical concepts. Post-baccalaureate students will be expected to review and synthesize research in the area of mathematics education as it is related to teaching mathematics in the primary setting. Prerequisites: Admission to the MAT program in Early Childhood, teaching experience in the primary school, or a C or better in 6 hours of MATH coursework if an undergraduate.
