Examination of basic health economic principles such as supply and demand issues. In-depth examination of health care reimbursement issues. Review of trends and consequences of changing reimbursement. Discusses cost management and internal financial structure, policies and procedures. Notes: Offered in spring. Prerequisites: For admission to HCMT classes above 299, students must have junior status and an overall GPA of at least 2.00. HCMT 200, HCMT 300 or 302, ACCT 280, and ECON 215.
