Description: This course introduces students to art education through weekly visits to P-12 classrooms to observe artistic development at different ages, guided by readings on child development in art and other related topics. Students also reflect upon their goals, values, and interests and engage in initial art teaching activities at various grade levels. Prerequisites: ARTS 204, ARTS 206, and ARTH 176 or permission of the Instructor. Notes: Cross-listed with ARTE 580. Offered in spring. Lab Fee: $45.
