Description: A capstone course in the theatre performance emphasis, this course synthesizes the theatre student's knowledge from the undergraduate experience and focuses on the application of performance research to the realized production of a classic dramatic text. Students will investigate the work of a selected author, examine relative critical and historical materials, and then apply this research to the production of one play with emphasis on realizing the arc of character and story, adhering to professional practice and methods. Notes: Offered in spring. Students must be senior standing. Lab fee: $50. Prerequisites: THRA 320, THRA 421.
