This course provides candidates an opportunity to observe and teach content specific lessons to diverse middle level learners. Candidates will examine the middle level teachers' role in establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Candidates will teach lessons in their content area and be evaluated using the South Carolina teacher evaluation instrument, ADEPT. They will also learn to reflect on their own teaching and identify ways to improve their instructional practices.
