Semester of directed research in medieval studies. May included extended independent study with a faculty member on a medieval studies topic, a semester abroad studying medieval sites and topics, or transfer of an appropriate 3-hr credit course from another accredited institution. May be repeated once for credit on a different topic. Notes: Offered on demand. Requires permission of the director, Medieval Studies Program. Prerequisite: MDST 300.
