Introduces basic chemical principles required to understand fundamental geological and environmental processes. Topics include principles and environmental applications of inorganic, organic, aqueous, and isotope geochemistry. Studnets will develop requisite theoretical and practical skills to qualitatively and quantiatively solve geological and environmental problems. Lecture three hours per week; laboratory three per week.
