Description: Techniques from the calculus of one variable and new techniques will be applied to the study of vectors and functions of multiple variables. Applications will be given in a variety of disciplines. Specific topics include: vectors in two and three dimensions, calculus of vector-valued functions, functions of several variables, partial derivatives, applications of partial derivatives, multiple integration, and vector analysis. Notes: Offered in fall and spring. Prerequisites: A grade of C- or better in MATH 202 or MATH 202H. Corequisites: MAED 200 (can be taken as a corequisite or prerequisite).
