Description: Study of the major literary periods, forms, and cultural issues that characterize British literature, with an emphasis on representative major works and authors over the course of British literary history and with consideration of the historical contexts in which these works were constructed. Prerequisite(s): WRIT 101 with a grade of C- or better. Notes: A student may not receive credit for both ENGL 203 and 201 or 202. Offered in fall, spring and summer.
