CED 520. School Counseling Practicum. 3(3,0). This course is an applied course where students master individual and group counseling skills and techniques. Enrollees will learn how to conduct individual counseling interviews, facilitate small group counseling sessions as well as engage in school counseling core curriculum activities. This course is a supervised field-based experience in which the enrollee serves as a school counselor-in-training in a school setting for a minimum of 100-clock hours. Prerequisites: CED 510, ED 514.(Formerly 519.02) and CED 543.
