Accumulated damage and "intrinsic clock" theories of aging; genetic and epigenetic theories of carcinogenesis; epidemiology of cancer; viral, radiation-induced, and chemical carcinogenesis; the immune system and cancer. Preq: BIOCH 301, MICRO 305, or consent of instructor.
