(3 credits)(Prereq: Minimum grade of 'C' in SPAN*21 or equivalent, or by placement, or with permission of instructor) The course focuses on the refinement of oral abilities reviewed in SPAN*210 and promotes the development of speaking and listening skills at the novice high level of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). It emphasizes communication in everyday situations in Hispanic cultures, with a special focus on the many facets of Hispanic cultures in North America.
