(3 credits)(Restriction: Admission to the professional program)(Prereq: EDML*445 or EDSC*400) Study for methods, techniques, and materials of instruction appropriate to science teaching at the middle and secondary levels. Students are expected to plan and implement specific lessons utilizing various resources and techniques. Standards-based instructional planning, integration of concepts, developmentally appropriate instructional strategies, appropriate assessment techniques, and implementation of planned instructional units are addressed. A clinical field experience at a middle of secondary school site is required and included in this course. F
