This course is designed for gender study minors and any student who is interested in the knowledge and skills essential for health promotion in the 21st century. Emphasis is placed on healthy behavior change through practice. Subtopics will include managing stress, improving sleep, promoting sexual health, and enhancing healthy eating. Technology and health, environmental health, the Affordable Health Care Act, and healthy beverage consumption will also be discussed.
